ABOUT ME

First and foremost, I am a mother. I find my son to be my greatest inspiration along with one of my greatest achievements. Family is a very important aspect of my work and I use it to guide me in all my endeavors. I am a true optimist. I feel that its the best way to look through a lens! There is always something amazing, even down the darkest  paths. Happiness, life, love, laughter, emotion. These are just a few attributes that my work entails. I want to hold those special moments and capture beauty in every form. Plain and simply, I love what I do. I've had a camera in my hand since I was a little girl and I intend to keep it close to me and document all these great adventures. I am a graduate of Hallmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts. After I graduated, I opened my first studio in California. I had a wonderful time with colleagues and met wonderful people along the way, but I knew that my heart was not in the big city. My heart was always in the beautiful Black Hills. I enjoy spending most of my days exploring these wonderful hills and showing my son all the world has to offer!
